A Little Bit About Me

General

    I'm always myself and I don't put on a front around people.  I don't like to be around liars or fakes, so I choose not to be one myself.

    If you don't like me, I don't care.  I say what's on my mind and if that offends you, I'm sorry - but I have my own opinions, values, morals, and view on life.

    I'm very open-minded, though, and I will listen to and consider your opinion.  If your views on a subject make sense to me, then you may just change my mind.  If not, at least I know someone else's point of view.

    I'm also very laid back and I can really go with the flow of things.  I'm spontaneous and I do a lot of random things.  Sometimes I make words up (nuju) and only certain people will know what they mean.  LoL

   I won't judge anyone.  Everyone is different and should choose to live their life the way that makes them happy.  So, don't judge me.

    I don't have a religion, but if you do, that's good for you.  I'll respect that, and please respect my choice to go without religion.  If I do find a religion, I want to choose it on my own.  So please, don't try to recruit me into your religion of choice.

    I'm white, but I don't care if you aren't.  I'm also straight, but I don't care if you're not.  Like I said, I don't judge and I'm very open-minded.  All I ask is the same in return from you.

    I have a wonderful boyfriend named Eric that I have been with since September 18th, 2006.  We were best friends for a long time before anything more was even on either of our minds.  I am totally faithful to my man, so if you are looking for anything more than friendship or online chatting, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Interests

    I collect purses.  It's more of an obsession than a collection to me.  I can't help it!  If I see a cute purse, even if I just bought one yesterday (or an hour ago), I'll get it if I have the money for it!  I'd rather buy a new purse than new shoes or even new clothes.  I don't know what my problem is.  LoL  Right now, my Coach purse is my favorite, but I'm sporting my Wal-Mart brand Eeyore purse.  It's tiny and a great purse for going out to the bar or just to run to the store with it.  The bigger the purse, the more stuff I'll find to put in it.  Haha

    I wear flip-flops almost year-round.  I even have tan-lines on my feet from them!  I wear flip-flops from the first nice day of the year til there is snow on the ground or just going to the mailbox makes my feet numb from cold.  My feet are very clean and healthy, though, since I have some kind of strange fear of feet & their "juices" (as I call it - I know it's really just feet sweat LoL).

    My favorite song changes with my mood.  Sometimes it will be some random Nickelback song.  They are my favorite band and I've been a fan since their first CD, Curb.  My favorite song off their first album was "Fly" and I'll admit that as soon as I heard it, I bought the CD.  They don't have a bad song yet, in my opinion.

    I also like 3 Doors Down, Hinder, Daughtry, Metallica, and lots more.  I listen to a little bit of everything, and I love rock, country, and top 40 hits.

    My favorite movie of all time is The Shawshank Redemption.  I also love Liar Liar, Major Payne, all the Harry Potter movies, Freedom Writers, Gridiron Gang, Million Dollar Baby, World Trade Center, etc. Anything that makes me laugh, cry, or scares the hell out of me.

    I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I do it's always the same things. Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Mindfreak, Lifetime Original Movies, The X Effect, and random stuff on TLC or the Animal Planet. LoL

    I am the biggest Harry Potter dork you will ever meet. I have read the series too many times to count!  My favorite character is probably Sirius Black, but Hagrid is a close second.


    I love my boyfriend, Eric.  He is the love of my life and the reason I do everything I do.  We have been together since September 18th, 2006.  We were friends for a while before that.  Best friends.  It's a funny story as to how we met.

    We actually met on Hot or Not and started chatting on Yahoo Messenger quite a bit in February of 2006.  We finally met face-to-face in June of 2006 and we were best friends at first sight.  When my then-boyfriend and I broke up, Eric was right there.  He lived about 45 minutes away, but when I called him crying and said, "I just need a hug",  he showed up about 20 minutes later and surprised me with a big bear hug.

    We got together shortly after, once I was ready for another relationship, and moved in together almost immediately.  He's my rock, and I don't know what I'd do without him.


I don't know where I'd be without these losers I call my besties.  They are always there for me and I'm always there for them.  We're the type of girls who burst out laughing at something that happened yesterday and it's always a "You just had to be there" moment with us.  There's no one else like my girls and I'll miss them all so much when I move away.

Tim McGraw's My Best Friend is my song to Eric.  It just fits our relationship so well.
